Getting away from the big spot light in politics we come to a gruesome stop in the Arkansas' third congressional district race. On Sunday Jacob Burris, campaign manager for Democratic Challanger Ken Aden, hopped into his car with his family, got gas and went to church. When arriving back home Mr. Burris' five year old son stumbled upon their mix breed Siamese cat slaughtered on their front door step with the word "liberal" written on its corpse.
When the Police officer arrived he wasn't sure whether the cat being killed could be considred a threat. Majority of the blogs and news websites that I have visited have all had comments about the police officer. It is safe to say that the wonderful people of our nation would disagree with this police officer. Myself being one of those people. For a human being to kill someones house pet over what seems to be political issues is wrong. A picture was taken of the cat and vivid descriptions were given but after thinking it over I decided it was best not to publish on this blog.
Mr. Aden, a veteran of the war in Iraq, stated this: "I've seen the best of humanity and the worst of humanity. Whoever did this is definitely part of the worst of humanity."
Mr. Aden's comments and approach to this unfortunate incident was well played. Though he was in grief and disgruntled about what had happened he knew that the law will do justice.
